Rotating positions move one route down the list each period, so everyone has had every route after one full cycle. On a day the route’s owner is not scheduled, it goes to whoever is working with the fewest routes that day, and among them the fewest routes that week. Thin days are settled first, so the techs who carry Sunday and Monday do not also pick up the midweek extras, and the weekly split comes out even.
The shift start is where the clock begins. Each card shows the expected minutes for its routes and a target finish time; the Record tab compares that against the check-off times. A route checked off in under half its expected minutes shows as “fast” to the supervisor.
Positions stay; names change. Pick the account each person signs in with so their checkboxes are theirs. When someone leaves, mark the position vacant and its route goes back into the rotation. A “Fixed route” stays with its position; on that person’s days off it is either skipped or handed to a tech, your choice per position. “Cover only” positions never get a route but can be picked to cover one.
A route is one person’s morning and is checked off as one item. List what it covers, one line each, with | 30 for the minutes you expect each part to take. Order sets the rotation and which routes get handed out first on a thin day. “Takes the whole morning” keeps pickups away from whoever holds that route while anyone else is in. “Skip on thin days” takes the route off the board on the days picked under Thin-day standard.
What goes out each night. Leave a night blank for nothing.
Days with fewer people in. Routes marked “Skip on thin days” come off the board on these days.
